Subscribe to the Northwest Indiana Catholic and you will have a wealth of
information delivered to your home each week to read and discuss with your
family and friends!

Non-parish Affiliated or GIFT subscription
If you do not belong to one of the 76 parishes in the Diocese
of Gary, Indiana, the subscription rate for the year is $23.
The subscription will expire one year from the month in which it begun.
A renewal reminder postcard will be sent to you approximately one month
before your subscription expires.
If you are purchasing as a gift for someone other than yourself, please be
sure to include the gift receiver's name and home mailing address. If
the gift receiver is registered at one of the 76 parishes in the Diocese of
Gary, Indiana, please provide that information as well to us to avoid
duplication of entries.
The newspaper is printed on
Wednesday, and is mailed out on Friday. In rare instances, some people
get it as early as Thursday, but never later than Saturday.
PLEASE NOTE FOR ILLINOIS RESIDENTS:
Delivery of your newspaper will NOT be the same week it is published.
It will arrive on a Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week.
This is because the newspaper must travel multiple stops, including the
main post office in Gary and then the main post office in Chicago,
before it reaches your home town's post office and finally your mailbox.
We have no control over subscription delivery when an address is outside
the four counties in Northwest Indiana.
We
accept a check or money order only, made payable to:
Northwest Indiana Catholic
We do not have the ability to accept credit cards online or in the
office.

Parish Affiliated
*All parish affiliated subscriptions are renewed in February during the
Annual Subscription Drive and expire in March of the following year.
If you belong to one of the 79 parishes in the Diocese of
Gary, Indiana, the subscription rate is $23 when purchasing a
subscription between the months of
January through June. The subscription will expire in March of
the
following year.
A
partial subscription may be purchased for a one-time only rate
of $11.50 when purchasing a subscription between the months of
July through December. The subscription will expire in March
of the following year. Parish affiliation will be verified before
partial subscription rate can be honored. This one-time special
rate is only valid one time per address/family. Renewal at the current
full rate will be required the following February during the Annual
Subscription Drive Campaign. Check your parish bulletin for more

School Subscriptions
(Required for Religion Classes)
Children enrolled in a CATHOLIC SCHOOL, grades 7- 8.
A school subscription is a
subscription in which a child is enrolled in a
Catholic School
in the Diocese of Gary, Indiana. He/she is required to use the weekly print
edition of the Northwest Indiana Catholic
as a "textbook" in
the 'Daily Religion Class.'
The subscription rate for these students is
$14.
The subscription will expire with the last issue in June 2008.
Subscriptions typically begin in September, but vary in start date depending
on how quickly the order is sent to our office for processing.
When purchasing a school
subscription,
the following information is needed:
Student's first and last name
Home mailing address
School affiliation where Religious Education Class is taken.
Grade of student.
The subscription will be placed
in the student's name
and will be mailed to his/her home address only.

*For families who have more
than one child in a religious education class, please check with the teacher
to see if he/she will allow sharing of newspaper between children in the
same family. Some teachers require students to cut out articles or
write in the newspaper. Therefore, "sharing" may not be possible, and
separate subscriptions will need to be purchased at $14 each
per each child.

"Maturing
In Faith" Subscription
Children enrolled in a PUBLIC SCHOOL, grades K-12.
A
"Maturing in Faith" subscription is a
subscription in which a child attends a
Public Grade/High
School and is enrolled in a parish 'Religious Education Program'
in the Diocese
of Gary, Indiana
and uses the newspaper as a part of a
'study guide program' provided to the teachers based on each week's
published issue.
Names are submitted to our office by each Catechist Teacher.
Subscriptions typically begin in

Need to change an address?
Please provide your name and old address and then your new address and
parish affiliation (if applicable). If you change parishes, please
inform us and your old parish. Please allow 1 to 2 printed issues for

address?
When residing in another state during the winter months, please submit a
change of address including your name and current address, and then the
address where you will be temporarily residing. Before you return to
Indiana, please submit another change of address including your temporary
address and then your permanent address (in Indiana). Please allow 1
